Content Highway Networks (P) Limited (CHPL) is a company established in India in 2008. The company is promoted by Tushar Shah and Saloni Shah.

Tushar Shah is a specialist in the field of convergence with over 20 years of experience in the media and communications space. He is also the co-promoter of Time Broadband Services (P) Limited (TBSL), a pioneer in the field of IPTV in India. TBSL is the partner of MTNL and BSNL (the largest landline telco’s in India) for provision of IPTV services on their network.

Being a social worker and an astute business person, Saloni Shah set up CHPL to empower the large disadvantaged population of India with interactivity at an affordable price. CHPL content would provide a variety of interactive services to a wide span of users ranging from the underprivileged (to buy a PC) or unskilled (comfortable using the remote but not adept to the keyboard and mouse) to the privileged.

CHPL carries out aggregation and production of interactive content for networked devices and embedded systems inclusive of IP Set Top Boxes, Hybrid CATV or DTH Set Top Boxes, Game-Stations, Interactive Televisions, Mobile Devices etc.

CHPL content would be presented as widgets to Pay TV (IPTV/DTH/Cable) service providers across the globe on revenue share basis as well as over the top through the portal www.boxyourtv.com. CHPL’s home media center would be the gateway in India to provide the interactive features to any digital or analog television set. CHPL content would also be available on a majority of Set Top Boxes across the world by 2011.
